Strategies for discontinuing benzodiazepines

A simple approach to deprescription of benzodiazepines is effective and long lasting. This approach involves adequately informing the patient on the need to reduce consumption, giving written detailed instructions on withdrawal, pointing out the possible withdrawal effects and solutions for them.
